road/trip.

I awoke to the feeling of my body recuperating from last night’s activities. The plan we had made to rise at 5:00am today fell through due to health reasons, but things started looking up once we were consuming a fancy McDonald’s breakfast. Sausage McMuffins. Dr. Pepper. All in order to be well-fed and ready to sit amongst a diverse group of families comprised of children of various mannerisms who would be joining us in our IMAX journey, narrated by Jim Carrey. We went Under the Sea, to a waterworld where snugglefish and sea lions convinced us of the importance of reducing our carbon footprints we were previously unaware of… The music teaches us to fear the shark with several dicks (or it appeared so in 3-D… is that what 3D stands for?). Children crying. All of this was going on the day they depart. And now they are trying to make it to the practice space thirty minutes from now. Doubtful. Typical behaviors of these men. Instead of packing, Philip was looking at maps of Northern Canada. Daydreaming about cities like Nunavut. Still drying his clothes in a clothes dryer that could have caused a housefire if its lint buildup hadn’t been discovered. Inches thick. Nick went somewhere with my U PASS. Philip debates about whether he should full shave. I like this style of preparation.
